On Saturday, August 28, 2021 hundreds gathered on historic Auburn Avenue to commemorate the 58th Anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s March on Washington. The event included remarks from a number of Atlanta political heavyweights. Following the opening addresses, attendees marched down Auburn Avenue.
The Skky Brand served as the City of Atlanta permitting process liaison overseeing and executing all aspects of the Large Gathering and Assembly applications. Tasks included but was not limited to application(s) completion and submission; notifications to City Council and NPU impacted by the event; communicate/correspondence with city service departments to adhere to requirements for approval.

Special guests speakers included Dr. Bernice King, Rep Nikema Williams, former NAACP Pres. Ben Jealous, and former Atlanta Mayor Shirley Franklin. The event concluded with a performance by Atlanta’s own Ludacris.
